Payment & Refunds Policy

This Payment & Refunds Policy explains how Otter Fixer (“we”, “us”, “our”) charges for services and handles refunds.


1. Pricing Structure

Otter Fixer offers straightforward pricing:

  • Diagnostics: £20
  • Fixes and technical work: £35 per hour (minimum charge £35)

All prices are in GBP (£).


2. When Payment Is Taken

Payment is requested only after:

  • A diagnosis has been completed, or
  • A fix has been delivered, or
  • Clear instructions for the client to fix the issue have been provided

You will never be asked to pay before receiving work/output.


3. No Payment If the Issue Cannot Be Resolved

If:

  • The issue cannot be diagnosed, or
  • The fix is not possible due to hosting/plugin/server restrictions, or
  • We inform you that the issue is beyond our scope

…then no payment will be requested.

This ensures fairness and transparency.


4. Refunds

Because payment is taken after work is completed and only when you confirm the work has been delivered:

  • Refunds are generally not applicable
  • You will always approve the work before paying
  • If you are unhappy with the work for any genuine reason, we encourage you to contact us
  • We will review the issue and resolve it where possible

If a refund is legally required (e.g., under UK consumer law), it will be provided.


5. Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfer
  • Stripe payment links
  • PayPal (if preferred)

Payment details will be provided once work is complete.
